On July 1, 2003 Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church established Saint Martha's Pantry as a means of outreach to those in our local community. The Pantry carries out its mission through volunteers and serves the Clovis community and surrounding areas by providing food for our neighbors in need regardless of religious affiliation, race or circumstance. Families can qualify for one standard distribution per month which provides for their basic needs for approximately one week. We also provide special packages for emergencies and for the homeless. In addition, an extra distribution is made for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life. The are very dedicated and well trained to serve an average of 275 to 325 families per month. Strong support and participation by OLPH parishioners makes all of this possible through financial support and food donations. Sponsorship is provided by various Church groups, OLPH School faculty and students as well as local businesses and individuals. The Pantry does not receive any government funding.
DUE TO COVID-19, AT THIS TIME YOU DO NOT HAVE TO QUALIFY TO RECEIVE FOOD ITEMS.
