CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION:PRESCHOOL – GRADE 6
Parents and children meet on Wednesday, September 19, in the Church at the class times.
Preschool through Grade 6 classes are offered on Wednesdays at 4:00–5:15 p.m. and 6:15–7:30 p.m.
Preschool/Kindergarten: This class is for children ages 4-5 who are not yet attending Kindergarten or will begin Kindergarten in the fall of 2018. Children experience the wonder of God through the lessons, stories, artwork, and music of the Pflaum Publishing Company’s “Seeds” program.
Grades 1–6: Students receive ongoing religious instruction that includes prayer, study, art, and service using Our Sunday Visitor Publishing Company’s “Alive in Christ” elementary program.

La reunión para los papas y los estudiantes: el viernes de 6:00–7:30 p.m. 21 de septiembre en Notre Dame Hall.
Preschool/Kindergarten: Esta clase es para niños de edades entre 4-5, que aún no están presentes en Kindergarten o comenzarán en el otoño de 2018. Los niños experimentan las maravillas de Dios a través de las lecciones, historias, arte y música del programa "Semillas," de la compañía Pflaum Publishing .
Primer – Sexto Grado: Los estudiantes reciben instrucción religiosa que incluye: oraciones, estudio de la Biblia, arte y servicio usando el programa “Vivos en Cristo,” de la compañía Our Sunday Visitor Publishing.
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION INFORMATION
Preparation for Baptism:
Students ages 7-17 will receive Catholic Initiation instruction similar to the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). The number of students preparing for Baptism will determine the time and day of class.
Preparation for First Penance and First Eucharist – all grades:
Students must be at least seven years of age by March of 2019 and have at least one year of Catholic elementary religious instruction. These students will attend First Penance (Confession) and First Eucharist (Communion) preparation at regular class times in the Church. First Confession and First Communion will be celebrated in the Spring of 2019. Parents will be required to attend some of these classes.
Preparación para la Primera Confesión y Primera Comunión para todo los grados:
Los estudiantes deben de tener por lo menos 7 años de edad para el mes de marzo del 2019 y tener por lo menos un año de instrucción religiosa Católica antes ser aceptado para la preparación de los sacramentos. La Primera Confesión y La Primera Comunion será celebrado en la primavera de 2019. Los padres estarán obligados a asistir a algunas de estas clases.
YOUTH FAITH FORMATION: GRADES 7–12
Classes are Sundays 12:15—1:30 p.m. in the Notre Dame Hall.
Mandatory parents’ and students’ meeting on Sunday, September 16.
Grade 7 students will study the New Testament and Grade 8 students will learn about the Early Church through the study of the Creed.
Pre-Confirmation: Grade 9 students will review the doctrines of the Church to prepare them for the Confirmation process. This is especially important if the students have not attended classes regularly since their First Communion preparation.
Confirmation: High school sophomores, juniors and seniors who are accepted into the Confirmation program will participate in a two-year process that includes prayer, study, and service to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Some aspects of this process will include parental and/or sponsor attendance.

Grados 7–9: Los estudiantes reciben instrucción religiosa que incluye: oraciones, estudia de la Biblia, y servicio usando el programa “Fusion de Fe.”
El Programa de Confirmación Grados 10–12: Los estudiantes en el programa de confirmación participan en un proceso de dos años que incluye oración, estudio y servicio para prepararse para el Sacramento de la Confirmación.
