Eucharist

"Catholics believe the Eucharist, or Communion, is both a sacrifice and a meal.
We believe in the real presence of Jesus, who died for our sins. As we receive
Christ’s Body and Blood, we also are nourished spiritually and brought closer to God.

Preparation for First Penance and First Eucharist – all grades:

Students must be at least seven years of age by March of 2016 and have at least one year of Catholic elementary religious instruction before being accepted into the final phase of sacramental preparation.

All students who have fulfilled the aforementioned requirements will attend First Penance (Confession) and First Eucharist (Communion) preparation with a parent or guardian, during the regular class times, in the Church. Both Sacraments will be celebrated in the Spring.
